About the Role
We're looking for dependable and competent individuals to join our team of Daycare Teachers. Successful candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day care of the children and will oversee daily activities such as arts and crafts, theatrical story telling, creative movement, art, playground supervision, and after-school pick ups. A successful candidate will be familiar with the latest safety protocols and requirements for early childhood education, as well as have experience in creative arts.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Providing a warm, safe, and well-supervised environment to each child and family
Inputting lesson plans, information about each child's day, and pictures of each child into the school app
Creative Arts Instruction
Physical ability to ensure the safety and care of children
Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and co-teachers
Full-time | 8 hr shift
Salary: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Qualifications
High school or equivalent (Required)
English (Required)
CDA or 90 hr Pre-service training for Preschool (Required)
CPR Certification (Required)
Work authorization (Required)
Once hired, MSDE requires a medical evaluation and Maryland State and FBI background check and finger printing to be completed. In addition all staff must complete 12 hours of continuing education yearly.

The position is for a full time lead teacher. You will work as part of a creative team that cultivates a safe, fun, artistic and nurturing environment for the children at our center and their families.
